Sarah was born in California, but grew up in Ohio. She attended Eastern Michigan University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Music. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. Before joining Vida, Sarah practiced at a 24-hour general practice and emergency hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she worked with small animals. Her professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and behavior medicine. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, paddle boarding, singing; spending time with her friends and family, fiancé Ben, and her dog Pepper.
