Dr. Nielson

Paige was born in California, but grew up in Colorado. She attended Trinity University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science with a double major in biology and English. She then went to Rice University, where she completed a Master of Science in bioscience research and health policy. Paige worked as a science writer and editor prior to deciding to pursue her longtime passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, geriatric care, and preventative medicine. Paige also loves research and keeping up to date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. When not in the clinic, she is an avid runner, spin-biker, reader, and horseback rider, who loves spending time with her friends, family, fiancé, and her dogs Katie and Moose
