Claire is originally from Atlanta, Georgia but her passion for animals has taken her around the globe. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences with a major in History and a minor in Biology. She then went on to earn her veterinary degree from the University of Sydney. After moving back from Australia, Claire began working at a large 24 hour practice in Fairfax Virginia, but after nearly 4 years of living in Washington, DC, she is thrilled to be back in Colorado. Claire has received her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture, and loves to offer integrative treatment options to her patients.

Her professional interests include feline medicine, pain management, dermatology and senior care. When she is not cuddling with all the animals at work, she loves spending time with her two Australian cats Olive and Maple, and her rescue Newfoundland named Reuben. Claire and her husband have one child, Wilhelmina, whose first word much to her mother’s delight was “KITTY”. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, cooking, paddle boarding and supporting her Atlanta sports teams. Claire feels privileged every day that she is able to care for animals and that she has found a career that brings her so much joy!
