Dr. Kaplan-Stein grew up surrounded by animal medicine because her mother is also a veterinarian. This sparked a passion for exotic and zoo creatures, so Dr. Kaplan-Stein turned her passion into purpose, and she began her educational journey at a young age.
Dr. Carrie Ginieczki received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. She then pursued a rotating small animal internship at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Leslie was born in California but grew up moving all over the US and Canada. She attended Colorado State University and received her BS of Biomedical Sciences in 2005 and her DVM in 2009. After graduating from veterinary school Leslie completed a one year internship.
Sarah was born in California, but grew up in Ohio. She attended Eastern Michigan University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Music. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University.
Although Dr. Katy LeVon has lived throughout the United States, the one continuous passion in her life has been helping animals no matter what kind. Before joining Vida, Dr. LeVon worked in Billings, Montana for a few years practicing general medicine and emergency.
Claire is originally from Atlanta, Georgia but her passion for animals has taken her around the globe. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences with a major in History and a minor in Biology.
Kelsey grew up in Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship in Tucson. Her professional interests include ophthalmology and rehabilitation.
